Campaign Update
Victoria News covers the campaign
Victoria News ran a piece on the campaign on May 12. The article introduces Melissa to readers across the region and gets into why she's running.
I was born and raised in Victoria, and I live here today. For the past five years, I have run a small business downtown, where I see every day what is working, what is not, and how much people still care about this city.
When my lease came up, I had a choice. Like many others, I could have left. Instead, I chose to stay and keep investing in Victoria.
Now I am choosing to step up. I am running for council because Victoria can be safe, vibrant, accountable, and truly working for the people who live here, work here, and visit here.
